Dental Health Week: Why Oral Care Matters
From August 3–9, Dental Health Week reminds us that oral hygiene isn’t just about teeth—it’s about total wellness. As we age, keeping our natural teeth becomes more common, but also more challenging. Gum disease, bone loss, and even cardiovascular risks are linked to poor oral health.
Tips for Better Oral Hygiene
- Brush twice daily—technique matters as much as frequency
- Switch to an electric toothbrush for better control and deeper clean
- Flossing is ideal, but alcohol-based mouthwash can help when dexterity is limited
- Schedule regular dental check-ups to monitor gum health
Daffodil Day & Tracky Dack Day
On August 28, Aspect Health supports two powerful causes:
- Daffodil Day: Raising funds for cancer research
- Tracky Dack Day: Our team suits up in trackies to support sick kids through TLC for Kids
With Love & Care
In 2020, we sent out nearly 400 Love&Care boxes across Queensland—filled with essentials and treats, supporting the QLD Care Army. It was our way of saying: Be kind. Be connected. Be community.
